Atlas Geeks help you achieve your business goals, building effective web sites using PHP and PHP-based frameworks including drupal, WordPress, and Opencart.
Hubcap Heaven®, LLC has three locations in Maryland and Virginia, selling wheels and wheel cover products. While their stores were earning revenue, their online presence was stagnating due to a web site which was visually jarring and not entirely functional. The existing web site was unable to process online orders; clients would walk through the process of selecting items and adding them to their cart, only to be give the message at checkout “please call to place your order”. Hubcap Heaven wanted to increase their overall revenue by capturing online sales.

Atlas Geeks assisted Hubcap Heaven in re-branding by hosting a design contest. The winning logo along with a sleek black-and-white color scheme provided a more visually-appealing web site.
After performing a comparison of available open-source shopping cart systems, Opencart was chosen as the best fit for Hubcap Heaven’s needs. Hubcap Heaven provided images, and spreadsheet dumps of thousands of items. Atlas Geeks massaged the data and assisted in cleaning images, created categories for the products and launched the new site using PayPal to process orders.
Hubcap Heaven received their first online sale the day after the web site went live, and orders have been steadily climbing since the site launch.

The Bermuda End-to-End is the single largest charity event in Bermuda, sponsored primarily by Catlin Group Limited. Each year walkers, runners, cyclists, kayakers, and other enthusiasts request sponsors to pledge funds for them to participate in the event. Once the event is finished, donated funds are given to a handful of pre-selected Bermuda-based charities, the names of which are posted to the End-to-End web site before the event.
The End-to-End web site provides online registration and pledging complete with payment processing; news, and much more. The administrative portion of the web site lets administrators sign up cash-paying registrants, maintain web site content, run reports, and more.

Atlas Geeks have been maintaining the Bermuda End-to-End web site since 2004. In 2008, the web site was completely rebuilt for the 2009 event, using the drupal Content Management System, to allow End-to-End staff to more easily update content.
The new visual design was provided by a third party in the form of graphics files, and Atlas Geeks built the Drupal theme. All programming was done by Atlas Geeks. Quite a few custom Drupal modules were required to achieve all desired functionality including integration with the charity’s payment processing gateway.
Following the web site redesign, the 2009 Catlin Bermuda End-to-End received the greatest donations to date.

The newest Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) in South Florida, HEJC provides parking, fueling, and other services to aircraft and pilots at the Homestead Regional airport (X51) in Florida. The service is personal and excellent, and Jim Starkweather wanted the same from his new web site. Jim wanted pilots and airplane owners to be able to find the FBO’s web site, and once on the site to get any information they might require.

Atlas Geeks designed and built the HEJC web site using a straight-forward layout. Clients can see up-to-date fuel prices, reserve services, get the after-hours number, get weather information including pilot-specific METARs, read HEJC news and peruse pics of the FBO.
The HEJC web site places on the first page of Google search results for keywords relevant to their business.
